SCO and the Hayes Center for Practice Excellence are here to assist with optometric opportunities and challenges that await you.
Transition into Success
SCO is committed to providing the professional resources for educational needs of our students and alumni, especially during the transition from student to practicing optometrist. From prospective student to established graduate, SCO is an active partner in the journey to realizing your potential.
SCO’s curriculum includes practice management courses designed to provide our students with a strong education foundation beyond the clinical component required to practice optometry at its highest level. Student organizations such as the Private Practice Club also exist to provide our students with the support they need to succeed.
From State Day to providing networking opportunities at national optometry events, SCO actively pursues opportunities to introduce our students to organized optometry leaders, researchers and successful role models.
